Porsche Design Tower: Where Cars Live in the Living Room
Porsche Design Tower: Where Cars Live in the Living Room
The Porsche Design Tower, a towering testament to luxury and automotive passion, is the brainchild of Michael Dezer. He poured $480 million into its construction, resulting in 132 units that range in price from $4 million to a staggering $32 million.
A significant chunk of this investment, an estimated 10%, went solely towards the development of the Dezervator, the building's innovative car elevator. While the sum may seem extravagant, Dezer firmly believes it was money well spent.
"Initially, I thought, 'How cool would it be to have your Porsche, Lamborghini, or Bugatti right in your living room?'" he explained. "But the real magic happened when people started buying units for the privacy they offer. Living in a high-end condo, especially for celebrities, can be a pain with the constant flow of paparazzi at the front entrance and the valet service. We eliminated that entirely."
For Juan Pablo Verdiquio, a 46-year-old Miami-based real estate developer, the Porsche Design Tower's unique concept and brand recognition were enough to seal the deal. He moved into a three-bedroom unit in 2017 and has since become neighbors with celebrities like Lionel Messi, Alicia Keys, and Swizz Beatz.
The Dezervator, a patented marvel of engineering, transports both cars and drivers directly to their sky-high garages, eliminating the need for a separate parking area. A larger version of this innovative elevator is already in the works for the upcoming Bentley Residences, further solidifying the trend of luxury living intertwined with automotive passion.
For Miami-based real estate developer Juan Pablo Verdiquio, the decision to move into the Porsche Design Tower in 2017 was a seamless one. Owning several Porsches himself, including a Taycan and a Panamera Turbo for his wife, Verdiquio saw the three-bedroom condo as a pre-approved mark of quality amidst Miami's saturated market.
Now, Verdiquio finds himself rubbing shoulders with fellow residents like Lionel Messi, Alicia Keys, and Swizz Beatz, solidifying the building's status as a haven for the affluent and driven. The tower's unique design and brand recognition perfectly aligned with Verdiquio's own values, making it the perfect place to call home.
